Benjamin & Medwin Douro 8-1/4" Copper and Brass Round Bottom Mixing Bowl, Made in Korea. Used for whipping meringues or custards or for melting and making chocolates. The brass ring allows it to be hung on the wall or in the pantry. Use as decor for a french country farmhouse look, or use it as it was intended and turn out some fabulous desserts. The bowl measures 8-1/4" diameter and 4-1/4" tall. It's made of heavy gauge copper with a rolled lip. The brass handle is held in place with a brass plate riveted to the bowl. The B & M Douro mark is stamped next to the ring. This is a polished bowl that retains some of the patina that comes with age and use.
