    Description

Compact Flash Interface Board with IDC10 Connectors
    MIKROE-76
Parallel interface ensures fast data transfer
    Power LED indicator
High-quality connector holds CF card firmly in place
Two 2×5-pin IDC cables for connection to host system
The Compact Flash Board provides complete PCMCIA-ATA functionality and compatibility. Many leading consumer electronics companies, including CFA members, have designed CF technology products for the consumer market. This board allows you to create an interface to CF cards or PCMCIA cards in CompactFlash form. The board brings the I/O pins out to two 2×5-pin female connectors at the end of the attached ribbon cables. The pinouts match I/O port headers found on development systems by mikroElektronika, so you can plug this module into one of those systems without having to solder or wire anything.
    Use in your own design
While this board was created originally for mikroElektronika's development systems, it's certainly possible to use in your own project. To do so, you may want to pick up
    IDC10 box headers
that you can solder onto your PCB, or a couple
    EasyTEST
boards to wire it up easily.
    Note:
This board is designed to use 5V power supply only.
